Zac Brown Band's "Letters For Lyrics" Goes Online

The Zac Brown Band's "Letters For Lyrics" campaign has expanded to the Internet. Back in the spring the group launched the initiative to help bolster morale among U.S. troops stationed overseas, and now folks can contribute with e-letters as well as traditional correspondences. Singer Zac Brown notes he's really pleased with how fans have embraced the project. He says, quote, "The response has been overwhelming. We're so proud of the strong support from our fans and, now that the campaign is moving online, we're even more confident they'll help us reach our goal." Brown adds, quote, "We've had the opportunity to set up a letter-writing station at just about every one of our recent shows where we asked fans to help us rally one-million 'Letters for Lyrics.'"

Those who contribute a letter to a soldier stationed overseas will receive the CD "Breaking Southern Ground" -- a compilation featuring three new Zac Brown Band songs along with material from other artists on Brown's Southern Ground Records label.
