UK Man Re-Enters Burning Building To Retrieve Trousers

A UK man is in stable, but critical condition this week after running into his burning home to retrieve a pair of trousers. "BBC News" reports that a man from Devon, England quickly evacuated his burning Penn Meadows residence pants-less. The unnamed man is reported to have re-entered his house to clothe himself. There, he fell unconscious due to smoke inhalation. That's when fire crews removed the man from the building. Neil Blackburn, a Group Commander on the scene, said, quote, "He had gone back into the house to spare his blushes. The clear message is if you discover a fire, get out and stay out." No one in the man's family was injured in the blaze.
