Ten-Year-Old Wins Mooing Contest

Being able to imitate a farm animal has paid off for one Wisconsin boy. The JournalTimes.com is reporting that ten-year-old Austin Siok won the annual mooing contest at the Wisconsin State Fair. For his efforts, Siok took home one-thousand dollars, a cow print jacket, a golden cowbell, and a year's worth of free subs from Cousins Subs. Siok's mom, Dawn, says her son gets asked to showcase his talent everywhere he goes stating, quote, "He mooed at the bank and he mooed at Kohls. Everyone wants to hear him moo." Austin Siok says he's enjoyed the attention his win has brought him noting, quote, "It's cool because it feels like I'm famous and you can even look at my name in Google and it comes up."
