Taylor Swift In Close Race With Justin Bieber For Bowling Honor
Taylor Swift is neck and neck with Justin Bieber for induction into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame. The country-pop crossover star and the teen pop sensation are the top contenders for the honor. At the end of the weekend Bieber had the edge in the fan-selected honor, with 600-thousand-738 votes. Swift is close with 599-thousand-459 votes -- trailing by just one-thousand-179 votes. The two singers have a significant lead over actor Jeff Bridges, who has the third-highest tally with 14-thousand-464 votes. Other contenders include "NCIS" star Pauley Perrette, Kim Kardashian, Bill Murray, Jimmy Fallon, and basketball stars Dwight Howard and Chris Paul. Balloting remains open at www.gobowling.com until August 7th. With the honor the the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America is paying tribute to celebrities who are helping maintain the popularity of the sport. The 2010 International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame inductee will be revealed in the August 23rd issue of "OK! Magazine."
