Sugarland's Nettles, Bush Sued By Former Band Member

Sugarland appears to be headed to court. "The Atlanta Journal-Constitution" says the duo's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush were unsuccessful in getting the lawsuit against them thrown out. The duo was requesting that the judge dismiss the legal action former band member Kristen Hall launched against them a couple years ago. Hall claims she played a key role in Sugarland's success, and that she, Nettles, and Bush agreed to continue their business partnership after she left the group, but Nettles and Bush haven't been giving her her fair share of Sugarland's profits. Hall says Nettles and Bush now owe her more than one-point-five-million-dollars. A court date has been set for November 15th.
