Report: Zsa Zsa Gabor Requests Last Rites, Recovering From Surgery
It looks Zsa Zsa Gabor is preparing herself for whatever comes next in her battle for health. Her husband, Frederick Prinz von Anhalt, says she requested that her last rites be read to her in her UCLA Medical Center hospital room on Sunday. The Hollywood star re-entered the hospital where she underwent surgery for blood-clotting issues on Friday -- just two days after her highly-publicized discharge following an extended stay. John Blanchette, a publicist for the Hungarian-born actress says Zsa Zsa re-entered doctors' care after developing complications related to hip replacement surgery last month. Blanchette explains that Gabor started bleeding after returning to her Bel Air home on Wednesday. Her release following the hip surgery had been delayed because of complications. Gabor, who was left partially paralyzed after a 2002 car accident, broke her hip after falling out of bed on July 17th.
Though questions linger about her exact birthdate, the many-times married Gabor is believed to be 93 years old. She was the middle of three glamorous sisters who captivated film and television audiences in the 1950s and 1960s. Gabor's work includes the movies "Moulin Rouge," "Lili" and "Touch Of Evil."
