Mallet-Weilding Robbers Confront Sword-Swinging Tenant

(Lincoln, NE) -- An unusual case is being investigated in Nebraska that includes a man trying to fend off a pair of croquet mallet-wielding robbers with a wooden sword. Police in Lincoln tell the "Journal Star" the victim was watching videos when the intruders burst in to his apartment. The man ran to his room and grabbed a wooden sword to protect himself. The culprits eventually forced their way into the room and sprayed the victim in the face with a fire extinguisher. The culprits made off with several items.
