"Jersey Shore's" Ronnie Arrested Over Parking Tickets

One of the stars of MTV's hit reality series "Jersey Shore" found himself in police custody over the weekend. TMZ.com is reporting that Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was apprehended by police in Seaside Heights, New Jersey Sunday morning for unpaid parking tickets. The reality TV star reportedly paid the tickets and was allowed to return home a short time later. Seaside Heights PD has released a statement saying, quote, "Ronald Ortiz was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants from two separate jurisdictions...Mr. Ortiz was transported to the Seaside Heights Police Department where he was processed and later released after satisfying the conditions of these warrants." In other "Shore" news, it appears as if Ronnie and his roommates are as popular as ever. Deadline.com is reporting that last Thursday's installment was the most watched episode of the series. Five-point-five-million viewers between the ages of 12 and 34 tuned in, earning the show a five-point-three-rating. The previous record was set last month when five-point-three-million people tuned in to watch the season two premiere. All-new episodes of "Jersey Shore" air Thursdays on MTV at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
