iPhone Application Helps Stop Break-In

A Dallas man was able to chase off a pair of burglars thanks to a new application on his iPhone. The "Dallas Morning News" is reporting that iCam sent Vincent Hunter a text message last Friday alerting him of movement inside his home. Hunter -- who was in Connecticut with his wife visiting his parents -- was able to watch the men break into his patio door thanks to a live feed on his phone. The North Dallas resident remarks, quote, "I've got a few webcams set up. We could see it unfolding." Hunter proceeded to call 911, but the intruders had fled the scene by the time police entered the home. The suspects are still at large, and believed to be responsible for a number of burglaries.
