Iowa Man Arrested For Blasting Air Horn at Neighbor

(Waterloo, IA) -- A longstanding dispute between two neighbors in Waterloo, Iowa has become a bit more strange. Sixty-two-year-old Carl Herold was arrested last week for blasting an air horn at his neighbor's house across the street. Herold told the "Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier" he started using the air horn after the neighbor wouldn't quit playing his, quote, "hippie tunes" loudly. The police report said an officer could hear the air horn five blocks away. Herold was arrested last week for disorderly conduct, the horn was seized by police and the neighbor was told to turn down the volume on the music.
