California Man Has Longest Tongue In America

A California man is putting a licking on a national record. San Diego's Fox Five recently announced that Nick Afanasiev has the longest tongue in America. Afanasiev's tongue measures three and a half inches from the middle of his top lip, and is less than half an inch away from the world record. Afanasiev -- who has appeared on the TV show iCarly -- discussed his accomplishment saying, quote, "I knew it was long, I just didn't know it was one of the longest."
