Bravo Unveils Another "Housewives" Series Tonight

TV viewers that didn't get enough of Michaele Salahi after she and her husband crashed a White House state dinner last year can now watch the socialite in action every week. "The Real Housewives of Washington DC" premieres on the Bravo network tonight, and Salahi is one of the wives. Joining the Northern Virginia native on the series are real estate professional Stacie Scott Turner, British expatriate Catherine Ommanney, modeling agency owner Lynda Erkiletian, and Mary Schmidt Amons, the granddaughter of radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey. Bravo touts its latest "Housewives" project as quote, "a compelling combination to explore the nexus of politics, society, and even race, as well as how the proximity to political power dictates where one fits within Beltway society."

The latest "Housewives" installment has had months of publicity leading up to its premiere tonight. Michaele and Tareq Salahi's attendance at the White House dinner last November has led to a federal grand jury investigation of the couple. Headlines and a memorable "Saturday Night Live" skit also commemorated the incident last fall. "The Real Housewives of Washington DC" will premiere on Bravo tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
