Police: Drunk Guest Causes 100-Thousand In Damages To Hotel

(Chandler, AZ) -- A guest at an Arizona hotel is in hot water after allegedly causing 100-thousand dollars in damages to the facility while taking a bath. Police say 35-year-old Bracken Sevey was intoxicated while lying in an overflowing bathtub at the Best Western Hotel in Gilbert over the weekend. The water went into nearby rooms and caused major damage to floors and ceilings. Sevey was arrested for felony criminal damage because the destruction exceeded 100-thousand-dollars.
