Plea Deal Ongoing In Charlie Sheen Criminal Case

No deal. Charlie Sheen's sentencing on a criminal assault charge has been postponed until next month. The 44-year-old actor was in Aspen on Monday to work out his plea deal, but teams for the prosecution and the defense were reportedly unable to reach an agreement. This, according to comments from the chief prosecutor in the criminal matter. Sheen had reportedly agreed to plead no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge stemming from his Christmas Day altercation with his wife Brooke Mueller. The incident took place while the couple was vacationing in the area. The deal was expected to include a 30-day jail sentence. Sheen's court hearing is now pushed back to July 12.
