Chris Young won't have a lot of downtime this week. The singer is the latest addition to the performance lineup for the 2010 CMT Music Awards, which take place in Nashville on Wednesday. He's a nominee heading into the event, vying for the Nationwide Insurance On Your Side Award along with Justin Moore, Randy Houser, and Ryan Bingham. The honor recognizes new artists. On Thursday Young will be at the CMA Music Festival taking part in an autograph signing session at the Greased Lightning Fan Fair Hall. He'll also be the guest of honor at an event celebrating the multi-week chart-topping success of his hit "The Man I Want To Be" as well as his birthday -- Chris turns 25 on Saturday.Young's first CMA Music Fest performance this year will be early Friday afternoon at the Riverfront Park Stage. Later Friday the former "Nashville Star" winner will offer up a set to launch the Grand Ole Opry's 2nd annual Guitars of the Stars Benefit Auction. On Saturday the singer will host his official Fan Club Party. He'll wrap up the week with another autograph session at the at the Greased Lightning Fan Fair Hall on Sunday.
