Toby Keith continues in his effort to help Oklahoma children with cancer. The singer will hold his seventh annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic on May 21st and 22nd in support of the Toby Keith Foundation. Keith will launch the two-day event in Norman, Oklahoma with a "Denim and Diamonds" party. At the evening gala golfers and guests will have the chance to enjoy live music and participate in both live and silent auctions. Trace Adkins and Carrie Underwood are among those who've contributed autographed memorabilia to the fundraiser. The next day golfers will hit the course.Money raised through the event will fund the OK Kids Korral, a new facility at the Oklahoma University Medical Center. The guest lodge is described as "a haven of respite" for pediatric cancer patients and their families, providing them a way to get out of the hospital while the children are at the hospital receiving cancer treatments. The 16-room, 30-thousand-square-foot OK Kids Korral is expected to open in 2012.
