Oprah Winfrey Unveils OWN Lineup

Oprah Winfrey is ready to share her "Next Chapter." On Thursday, the media mogul unveiled plans for her new network, the Oprah Winfrey Network, or OWN. Set to debut on January 1st, 2010, the network will feature 24-hour programming. The lineup includes the new series "Oprah's Next Chapter," "Visionaries: Inside The Creative Mind," "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star," "Gayle King Live!" and "Why Not? With Shania Twain." Oprah's OWN network is a joint venture between her Harpo Incorporated and cable network Discovery Communications. She announced late last year that she would be ending her daytime talk show after 25 seasons to turn her attention to her OWN network.
