Ohio Woman, Nephew Face Charges Over April Fool's Prank

Two residents of Lorain, Ohio are facing criminal charges after playing an April Fool's joke on a member of their family. Newsnet5.com is reporting that Tiffany Morland and her 12-year-old nephew are facing false alarm charges after they told Morland's mother that she had been shot. The young boy called his grandmother last Thursday and informed her of the bad news. Unfortunately, the grandmother hung up and called 911 before the boy could say "April Fools." Several police officers wound up swarming Morland's home with guns drawn. Morland eventually admitted that the entire incident was a prank, and has sworn never to attempt another April Fools' joke ever again.
