Mayor's Wife Arrested On DUI

(Tavares, FL) -- The wife of a Florida mayor is facing driving under the influence charges. Tavares Mayor Robert Wolfe's wife Sharon was arrested over the weekend and charged with driving under the influence. Police say the 39-year-old crashed her Chevy Camaro into a street sign and then left the scene. She was found a short time later asleep at the wheel in a hospital parking lot. Wolfe's blood-alcohol level was under the legal limit, but police say they found prescription sleeping pills in her car.
