Mark Chesnutt Touring U.S. Bases In South Korea
Mark Chesnutt is overseas on a special tour. The singer has traveled across the Pacific with the Tennessee National Guard, and will be spending the next few days visiting U.S. troops stationed in South Korea. The singer is launching his trek of South Korean U.S. bases Thursday with an outdoor concert at Camp Casey. He's scheduled to entertain military members stationed at Camp Humphreys on Friday, and he'll perform at Kunsan Air Base on Saturday. During the trek, Chesnutt is also expected to visit the Demilitarized Zone -- the area that separates North and South Korea. In advance of the trek, Chesnutt -- who last year performed at bases in Iraq and Kuwait -- said he was looking forward to this new opportunity to entertain the men and women wearing our country's uniform, noting, quote, "These people just want to have a taste of home, and I plan on giving that to them."
