Kenny Chesney Sets "Tonight Show" Appearance To Support Film
Kenny Chesney will be an upcoming guest on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." But unlike previous visits to the talk show, this time the country star isn't appearing to promote his music. He's supporting his concert film, "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D." The singer admits it feels different, noting, quote, "It's sorta strange to be going on 'The Tonight Show' with a movie coming out." He explains, quote, "The idea of showing clips and talking about the experience of making this film...but it's something we're all -- me, the band, Joe Thomas the director, all the guys who worked on it -- are really proud of, and it's definitely getting me out of my comfort zone." Chesney will chat with Jay about his movie on April 15th. "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D" will open in theaters on April 21st.
