Women Found At Courthouse With Gun

A Washington state woman is accused of bringing a loaded weapon to a courthouse during a domestic violence hearing. Security officers at the Spokane County Courthouse stopped the 22-year-old woman who had a loaded semi-automatic pistol in her purse. The weapon was discovered while the purse went through an X-ray machine. Stacey Atkins was cited for possessing a concealed weapon and carrying it into a prohibited place. After being interviewed, she was released and signed a promise to show up in court. Atkins was headed to a domestic violence hearing.
