Taylor Swift Takes Two At Kids' Choice Awards
Taylor Swift is a two-time winner at last weekend's Kids' Choice Awards, capturing the nod in both categories in which she was nominated. The country-pop crossover star was named Favorite Female Singer, taking the title over Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Beyonce. In addition her hit "You Belong With Me" earned recognition as Favorite Song, bettering Lady GaGa's "Paparazzi," Miley's "Party in the U.S.A.," and the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" for the honor. Nickelodeon's 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards were presented in a ceremony in Hollywood Saturday night. However, Swift couldn't be there to accept her awards in person. She's currently on her "Fearless 2010 Tour," and on Saturday was playing her second of two shows in Detroit. Swift's next stop will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Wednesday.
