Sara Evans has been formally granted a restraining order against her ex-husband. CMT.com says a Franklin, Tennessee judge approved the singer's request at a hearing on Monday. Evans initiated the legal action against Craig Schelske last month to stop him from speaking about their divorce in public. Schelske made statements about their divorce in his lobbying efforts before the Tennessee Legislature as he urged passage of a bill about divorce custody agreements. Schelske also reportedly used a nationally-syndicated talk show as a platform to discuss his split from Evans.Evans and Schelske's marriage ended in the fall of 2006 with the country star filing for divorce. At the time, they both accused each other of infidelity, and both denied having affairs. The high-profile split occurred while Evans was competing on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." The disruption in her family life prompted her to leave the competition. Evans has since remarried. Her divorce from Schelske became final in 2007, and in 2008 she tied the knot with Alabama sports radio personality Jay Barker.
