Dr. Izzie Stevens is moving on. "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl is reportedly leaving the ABC medical drama with a little drama behind the scenes. "People" magazine says Heigl was supposed to return to the set of "Grey's" on March 1st after three months of maternity leave, but failed to show up. "Entertainment Weekly" also reported that series creator Shonda Rimes is agreeing to release Heigl from her contract and cites a source who says talks between the actress and ABC have been ongoing for months. As it stands right now, Heigl's final episode may have already aired. Sources say the "Knocked Up" star and ABC both agreed last week that the best solution would be to part ways now instead of finishing out the season.Heigl's exit would mark the third high-profile exit from "Grey's Anatomy." She follows Isaiah Washington who was let go after he reportedly used a gay slur in reference to fellow cast member T.R. Knight. Knight's character George was also killed off at the end of "Grey's" last season.
