Report: Corey Haim Cause Of Death "Deferred"
The death certificate for actor Corey Haim is listing the actor's cause of death as "Deferred." Sources tell TMZ.com that the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office is still awaiting toxicology results. The Coroner's office says Haim had pneumonia. TMZ reported earlier that four different types of drugs were found in the actor's apartment when he died. The website lists them as Valium, Vicodin, Soma and Haloperidol which is described as an antipsychotic drug. It is not known if Haim took the prescription drugs. Meantime, California authorities are investigating Haim's link to an illegal prescription drug ring. The State Attorney General's Office tells TMZ that Corey's name turned up in a massive investigation that began in October of last year. They say a prescription for OxyContin was written for "The Lost Boys" actor on a prescription pad that was not signed by an authorized doctor. Haim died last Wednesday. He was 38.
