Norway Opening Luxurious Prison
Doing time in a Norwegian prison is becoming a much less intimidating proposition. Ananova.com is reporting that a 241-million-604-thousand-dollar prison is set to open near Oslo. The facility will provide inmates with flatscreen TVs, single-person cells, windows without bars, a recording studio, and a climbing wall. Governor Arne Hodial discussed the new prison stating, quote, "We are very proud of what we have achieved. None of the windows have bars and they are made of unbreakable security glass so that people do not feel too claustrophobic."
