MANY UPLIFTED BY SPRING'S ARRIVAL
Spring is just around the corner, and the turn of the seasons will likely spark a change in people's attitudes. Nearly two-thirds of those taking part in a Rasmussen Reports poll say the arrival of spring lifts their spirits. Only nine-percent say spring worsens their mood, while 30-percent note the end of winter doesn't affect how they typically feel. But while the majority note their mood improves once spring has sprung, it's not the most popular season of the year. That distinction belongs to summer, which 36-percent say is their favorite season. Spring takes second place as the preferred time of year for 28-percent. Just over 20-percent enjoy fall the most, while only nine-percent say winter is their favorite time of year.
