>>"Lost" Finale Ads Reportedly Costing 900-Thousand-Dollars
It'll be pretty expensive to run a commercial during the series finale of "Lost." AdAge.com says those wanting to buy time on the last episode of the hit ABC series are learning it'll cost approximately 900-thousand dollars for a 30-second spot. While network execs haven't confirmed the hefty pricetag, buyers are citing figures between 850-and-950-thousand dollars to purchase a half-a-minute of airtime. At 900-thousand, advertisers buying a 30-second spot on the "Lost" finale are now paying more than 400-percent more than they did when they reserved the time last year. Those who bought their spots during ABC's upfront in advance of the new TV season paid, on average, 213-thousand-563 dollars for a 30-second ad. The finale of "Lost" will air on ABC on May 23rd.
