Lawn Clippings Lead Officers To Suspected Mower Thief

Police in Fresno, California didn't have to look far to catch a suspected lawn equipment thief. The officers followed a trail of grass clippings to a central Fresno apartment where they arrested a 16-year-old boy. The teen admitted to breaking into a gardening trailer and stealing two lawn mowers and two trimmers. His alleged accomplice remains on the loose. Witnesses called police after seeing the two pushing the equipment about 75 yards down the street to the apartment.
