DUI Suspect Says Car Was Stolen
A Wisconsin man was unable to talk his way out of a DUI charge over the weekend. According to the "Sheboygan Press," Joseph Sagal told police his car had been stolen after he drove it into a snow bank. The 42-year-old called police early Saturday morning to report his missing ride. Police found the car in a snow bank a short time later. Authorities tracked footprints that matched Sagal's from the car back to the bar where the vehicle had been allegedly stolen. Sagal eventually admitted that he had crashed his vehicle, and proceeded to fail a field sobriety test. The Sheboygan Falls resident is now facing his fifth DUI charge, which is a felony. He could spend as many as three years behind bars and pay up to ten-thousand-dollars in fines.
