Donny And Marie Cancel Vegas Shows This Week

Donny and Marie Osmond are taking time off from their Las Vegas show. People.com reports that the siblings announced on Wednesday that they'd canceled shows at The Flamingo at least through the end of this week. Publicist Alan Nierob said of his client Marie, quote, "She needs to spend more time with her family. She's still processing everything and it's really rough on her." The Osmonds returned to the Vegas stage on March 9th, just one day after the funeral of Marie's son, Michael Blosil. The 18-year-old committed suicide in late February by jumping from the balcony of his high rise Los Angeles apartment. A rep for The Flamingo confirmed that Donny and Marie are expected to return to the stage on March 23rd.
