Carrie Underwood has another chart-topping single to her credit. "Temporary Home" has hit the peak position on the Billboard Country Songs Chart to become the 12th number one hit of her career. "Temporary Home" reached the top spot in 18 weeks, which is the fastest climb to number one for a song this year. While "Temporary Home" is about people going through difficult periods of transition, Underwood says she finds the song uplifting, explaining, quote, "It's hopeful, and each person in each story, in each different place in their life, knows that things are going to be okay." The video for Underwood's hit is also doing well. Last Friday the clip for "Temporary Home" marked its fifth week in a row at number one."Temporary Home" is from Underwood's third CD, "Play On." It's the second single from the disc, following "Cowboy Casanova," which also went to number one.
