Blake Shelton Getting Music To Fans Faster, Cheaper With "Six Pack"

Blake Shelton says fans who like his current single, "Hillbilly Bone," won't be disappointed with his new release. He notes that the song -- which is the title track to his new "six pak" -- well represents all the material on the disc. Shelton is trying something new with the six-track "Hillbilly Bone." He says that as an artist crafting smaller CDs enables him to get new music to fans faster. But he admits he has another goal with the project -- to turn the trend away from downloading and back to the actual physical CD. He says one way to accomplish this is by making albums affordable, and by releasing a "six pak" he can keep his prices down. Shelton's "Hillbilly Bone" will be in stores today. Shelton is promoting "Hillbilly Bone" with a number of TV appearances this week.
