Bank Robbery Suspects Call Ahead For Cash
Two Connecticut men were arrested after they reportedly tried to rob a bank over the phone. According to the "Connecticut Post," Albert Bailey and a 16-year-old called a People's United Bank in Fairfield and asked them to have their money ready. The duo allegedly told the bank employee to have 100-thousand dollars waiting in a bag with no dye packs included. Police sergeant James Perez explains, quote, "They literally called the bank and said to have the bag of money ready on the floor because they're coming to rob the place." Perez adds, quote, "I would classify these individuals as, 'Not-too-bright.'" Albert Bailey was already on probation for attempting to rob a People's United Bank in 2003.
