"Alice In Wonderland" Keeps Top Box Office Spot

For a third straight week, Disney's "Alice In Wonderland" is the top movie in North America. The Tim Burton 3D fantasy earned 34-point-five million dollars to retain the number-one spot, beating the box office performance of several debuts in nationwide release. The family film "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" placed second with 21-point-eight million dollars in its first weekend of release, while Jennifer Aniston's "The Bounty Hunter" opened third with 21-million dollars. Coming in a distant fourth was the debut of the scifi thriller "Repo Men" with six-point-two million dollars in receipts. "Repo Men" was followed by "She's Out of My League." The romantic comedy starring Jay Burchel earned just over six-million dollars and rounded out this weekend's top five.
