VALENTINE'S DAY IS GOING TO THE DOGS

Valentine's Day isn't just for humans anymore. Three out of five adult dog owners taking part in a Purina poll say they're including their four-legged friend in their Valentine's Day plans. Two-thirds note they intend to show their love for Fido by, quote, "showering the dog with hugs and kisses," and 56-percent say they'll be giving their dog a special meal on Sunday. In addition, just over a quarter of respondents note they don't just express their feelings on Valentine's Day, as 26-percent admit they say "I love you" to their pup at least once a day. That's also the number of adults who say they utter the affectionate phrase to their spouse or partner every day.
