Touring For Tim McGraw Means Fun, Charity
If it looks like Tim McGraw is having a good time on stage, well, he is. The singer says it's essential for him to be excited by what he's doing so he can deliver a quality performance and entertain his fans. But McGraw notes it's also important to him to support his listeners. He says that before signing on with tour sponsors Outback Steakhouse and Frito-Lay's Fritos, they had to agree to also work with his Neighbor's Keeper Fund. The country star explains that by touring, quote, "you're going to be taking money out of communities," through ticket and merchandise sales. So he's requiring his sponsors to work with the charitable fund he established with wife Faith Hill to, quote, "figure out ways to put money in the communities that we went into." McGraw is on tour supporting his latest album, "Southern Voice." His next show will be in Roanoke, Virginia Friday night.
