Kenny Chesney says he's looking forward to taping a new episode of "CMT Crossroads" with Steve Miller. The country star has nothing but praise for the classic rocker, noting, quote, "He's so down-to-Earth, so easy-going, you'd never what a big star he is." Chesney adds, quote, "Everything he's done...songs like 'Take The Money and Run,' 'Jet Airliner,' 'Fly Like an Eagle,' 'Livin' In The USA' and 'The Joker'...He's been on the road for four decades and he's just as good now, not to mention the way he can play a guitar! It is truly an honor to get to do this with him." Chesney and Miller have played together once previously, back in 2008 when Miller made a guest appearance at Chesney's concert in San Francisco. They're expected to tape their episode of "CMT Crossroads" next month. An air date hasn't been set yet.Chesney's turn with Miller won't be the country star's first appearance in the CMT series. In 2003 he teamed up with John Mellencamp for an episode. "Crossroads" pairs country singers with artists of other musical genres to perform intimate, collaborative concerts during which they trade songs and stories to see where their musical roads cross. CMT launched the series back in 2001.
