Man Arrested For Homemade Bombs
A Green Bay man has been charged after police found explosives at his mother's home in Pulaski. Officials charged 46-year-old Jon Peplinski Monday with possession of homemade explosives. Authorities arrested him Friday night at his mother's home on Chicago Street. Officials say they found eight explosive devices, and around 300 pounds of raw chemicals used to make them. Authorities closed down some nearby streets for several hours. They say the amount of materials posed a risk to residents in the area. Peplinski told authorities he used the materials to make fireworks, which has been a hobby of his for more than 20 years.
