Lady A Opening Shows To Introduce Their Music, Not Steal Fans

The members of Lady Antebellum note that opening shows for headliners such as Kenny Chesney or Tim McGraw gives them a chance to introduce their music to a wider audience. While they'd also love to see their fan base grow as a result, Lady A's Charles Kelley admits they don't expect to instantly win over thousands of new followers at each show. Lady A opened shows last summer on Chesney's Sun City Carnival tour. This year the trio is on the road with McGraw, warming up the crowds on his "Southern Voice" trek. Lady Antebellum will be sharing their songs with McGraw's fans in Columbia, Missouri tonight. Other dates this weekend include Lexington, Kentucky on Friday and Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday.
