Brooks & Dunn is set to receive one more honor for their collaborative career. The pair has been tapped for the Career Achievement Award from Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. The award recognizes performers who have made significant contributions to both country music as well as country radio. Brooks & Dunn will be presented with the award Tuesday night at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Dierks Bentley will be on hand to play a musical tribute to the legendary duo. He says Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are certainly worthy of the award, noting, quote, "Kix and Ronnie are the original modern day honkytonkers. A lot of acts playing down on Lower Broadway try to emulate those guys." Recalling their Australian tour together last year, Bentley adds, quote, "I watched their show every night from side-stage in total awe of the number of hits they've had and what they've built over the last few decades. They've done it all."The Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Ceremony will take place at Nashville's Renaissance Ballroom. The event marks the start of the annual Country Radio Seminar, which will continue through Friday.
