People.com reports that the couple has donated one-million-dollars to the emergency medical operation handling the aftermath of a magnitude seven-point-zero earthquake in the Caribbean nation. Brangelina's Jolie-Pitt Foundation made the seven-figure donation to Doctors Without Borders. The global organization's three Port-au-Prince hospitals were damaged in the disaster, dislocating essential medical professionals who are now working in open-air settings. Regarding the donation, Pitt said, quote, "We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care."
