Jay Leno On The Move?
NBC may be making good on its plans to improve the performance of Jay Leno's ratings-challenged primetime talk show -- at Conan O'Brien's expense. TMZ.com is quoting sources that say Leno will move back into his old 11:30 pm Eastern time slot following a brief hiatus to make room for the network's coverage of the Winter Olympics. That's the time slot that the O'Brien-hosted "Tonight Show" currently occupies. According to TMZ, it's not yet known whether "The Jay Leno Show" will return as a half-hour show leading into "The Tonight Show," or whether Leno will run for an hour and displace O'Brien altogether. TMZ says both Leno and O'Brien are aware of the changes. "The Jay Leno Show" will reportedly begin its hiatus on February 1st.
