Carrie Underwood To Attend People's Choice Awards

Carrie Underwood will be spending some time in Los Angeles this week. CMT.com says the country star is planning to attend the People's Choice Awards, which will be presented in a ceremony Wednesday at L.A.'s Nokia Theater. The newly engaged performer is a nominee in two categories. She's in the running for the all-genre Favorite Female Artist award, along with Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Pink. Underwood is also up for Favorite Country Artist, facing Swift, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Rascal Flatts for the honor. The Queen Latifah is set to host 2010 People's Choice Awards, which will air on CBS at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
