"America's Got Talent" Will Go On Without "The Hoff"
Producers of NBC's summer hit "America's Got Talent" have a vacant judge's chair to fill. People.com reports that actor-producer-singer David Hasselhoff is leaving the show after four years. "The Hoff" said via statement that he's proud of his run on the successful talent show, adding, quote, "It's been a rewarding experience and now I'm thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly." NBC reps have responded by saying that the network is, quote, "sad" to see the 57-year-old go. They added that NBC will look for a new host soon for next summer's production, but named no possible replacements. No details were provided regarding Hasselhoff's new project.
