ABC wants more of "The Bachelor." HollywoodReporter.com states that the alphabet network has ordered a spinoff in its hit matchmaking franchise. The show -- called "Bachelor Pad" -- will feature former contestants living together under the same roof while competing in various challenges. The show will recruit contestants from the past 13 seasons of "The Bachelor" and the past five seasons of "The Bachelorette." At the end of each episode, a resident in the so-called "pad" will be evicted. As to why the show's producers want to bring back former castoffs, "Bachelor Pad" executive producer Martin Hilton said, quote, "All these people have been friends, been enemies, they date each other and bring all this great backstory to the show. It seemed like there was an opportunity to combine that world with a new competitive reality show."The announcement follows Monday night's controversial broadcast of "The Bachelor: On The Wings of Love." On the show, bachelorette Rozlyn Papa was removed from competition when it was revealed that she'd had an inappropriate relationship with a member of the show's production staff.
