Charlie Sheen's wife has hired defense attorney Yale Galanter, the longtime legal counsel to O.J. Simpson. TMZ.com says Brooke Mueller has retained Galanter in the event that Colorado prosecutors charge her with making a false police report in connection with an alleged domestic dispute with Sheen on Christmas Day. Galanter has asserted that his client did not recant her report to cops, but did, quote, "minimize her story, like many wives in a similar situation do, when they realize their husband could go to jail." The mother of Sheen's two twin boys -- Max and Bob -- alleged that the "Two and Half Men" actor held a knife to her throat and threatened to have her killed. Galanter has now stated that Mueller did not realize that Sheen would be arrested when she called 911.Galanter said he planned to file papers with the Aspen, Colorado court on Wednesday, requesting that the couple be allowed to have contact with each other to work on their marriage.
