For a dead guy, he throws a great party
A recently deceased Ohio man is proving that you don't need to be alive to throw an awesome birthday party. Jack Greenberg died on February 9th, 2008, but on December 25th, his friends and family celebrated what would have been Jack's 84th birthday. According to the "Cincinnati Enquirer," before his death, Greenberg created a special trust to pay for an annual birthday party for 20 years, or until the one-point-five-million-dollars in the trust ran out. The 37 guests in attendance each received lunch, limousine service, photographs and 15-hundred-dollars in gifts. They were also treated to a speech about Jack Greenberg. His longtime friend and attorney Irwin Katzman remarks, quote, "I've seen some pretty unique trust provisions. This caps them all."
