"Meatballs" Movie Takes Top Box Office Slot


The children's movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" ate up the competition at the box office this weekend. The movie debuted in the number one slot with estimated earnings of 30-point-one million dollars. Coming in a distant second place was the debut of "The Informant!" starring Matt Damon, which brought in ten-point-five million. Falling to third after topping the list last week was Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad All By Myself" with ten-point-one million dollars. In fourth place was the debut of the Jennifer Aniston-Aaron Eckhart comedy "Love Happens," followed by the Megan Fox thriller "Jennifer's Body," which debuted in fifth place.
